Having the same issues, and done almost eveyrthing you wrote up except for writing tickets to EA cause i can't seem to submit them.
However i actually have been playing the game, when i was at work, which is based far away from where i live. Gaming on my 5G internet through hotspot was fine but when i got home i'm having the same issue on both my dekstop and laptop. Tried setting hotspot wifi to my desktop, didnt resolve the issue, and tried gaming on my laptop (which beforehand was problem free) on my wifi and i have the same problem as my desktop.
This is super frustrating and it seems to be an easy issue to fix? Devs just has to program in some kind of choice for server routing within a region and lock accounts to that region?
The fact that all i've seen is multiple threads from users having the same issue but nothing official from dice or EA makes me hopeless for a fix soon.
