Hi there. As a test, can you try playing a Portal match and let me know if you have the same issue? Thanks!
The portal servers do not suffer from the dreaded Time Nudge interpolation procedure.
The issue affects intel and AMD systems that are around 2-5 years old from my research. People with Ryzen 5xxx cpus have this issue usually. I personally had a Ryzen 5 5600G and the game was not playable.
To play the game properly I had to upgrade and build a new system with new components. The optimization appears to be so bad on the affected CPUs that dipping under 60fps for one second causes unplayable lag. It manifests as a ping spike on the scoreboard so you think it is real high ping but it’s not. It’s the time nudge as seen on the performance graphs.
BF6 claims that the game will run on a Ryzen 5 2700. There’s absolutely no way that’s true from what I’ve dealt with. The published system requirements are not accurate and that’s a huge problem.
In years and years of gaming I have never seen a hardware issue cause high ping. I’ve even seen people with strong processors affected with this ridiculous issue. There has to be a fix here.
