Battlefield 6 crash to desktop, no logs

Hi There, Can anyone help me figure out what is going on?

I bought the game on Steam first but my game was crashing to desktop randomly. Some times after 5 minutes, somtime after 30 minutes. Randomly. After i dont know how many "fixes" on the internet like disabling security, updating gpu driver, bios update etc etc it still did not work.

So, i refunded the game and bought it on the EA app, maybe this would work? Well.. it did not.

After all this i thought, lets completely re-install my PC. It has been some years sice i reinstalled the machine. I clean installed windows, installed the EA APP and the latest NVIDIA drivers, installed discord and Battlefield 6. Ready to game! (Or so i thought). I joined my friends and started fighting, 15 minutes in the game? Crash to desktop!

When googling "Battlefield 6 crash to desktop" i can see many people having the same trouble with widely different system hardware. i personally have a OMEN laptop "HP Omen 17-cb0700nd" with a Intel Core i7-9750H, GeForce RTX 2070 and 32GB RAM.

Sorry for my bad english, it is not my native language.

  • This sounds like exactly my issue. I have seen a few threads with a similar problem. Here is a link to my original thread if this sounds like the same issue: FSR 2 Consistently Causing Crash | EA Forums - 12824474

If this is the same issue I am having, there is no current fix because it is an issue with the Frostbite engine. FSR 2 is calling a pointer which leads to nowhere so your entire system crashes. We need to wait for EA to resolve this issue which HOPEFULLY is in the Tuesday update.
