Battlefield 6 fails to launch and closes past EAanticheat splash screen
since the march 03 update i've been unable to launch the game.
every time i try it just does what happens in the video
i have tried almost EVERYTHING
i have restarted my PC, verified the integrity of the game files, reinstalled the game.
i asked the community on the official discord if they knew why.
a fellow by the name of PenguinFriendForever offered to help, claiming to have helped a bunch of players with issues in the past, other users on discord confirmed this
for the next two hours i worked with them trying every possible fix, from reinstalling and repairing the anti-cheat, to updating Nvidia drivers, to checking for windows updates, to running a device health check, to checking the status of programs and systems that normally cause issues for the anticheat.
i have done everything except factory resetting my PC.
this is almost definitely an issue with the latest update as it would run perfectly fine before it with zero issues, high FPS and fast load times.
please for the love of god look into this.
additionally i was asked to check the event viewer to see the windows error log.
if that helps, i have included that image of the error
please fix this, i just want to play the game
The issue has been fixed
it seems to be an issue with windows 11.
the fix was creating another user on my PC and switching to it, on which the game functions fine and loads up normally.
such a weird issue, god **bleep** you windows 11.
