So i did not find mention about fixing this on season 2 even if they acknowledged the problem in their own post:

All they did was making portal servers also 60hz so right now game is completely unplayable. Complete joke.
Yep, 180 hours in playing portal servers. At 30hz it was playing fine, I could put up with filtering the servers for a "standard" game, but now it's all 60hz I've given up.
This especially hurts as most people can't upgrade their system with prices the way they are currently.
I've gone back to playing Delta Force.
