Battlefield 6 Scoreboard & Death Freeze (Glitch)
System: Steam-PC
While playing Battlefield 6, I would view the scoreboard during gameplay to determine points, stats, report suspicious players, etc. However, today I played two consecutive games where I viewed the scoreboard upon respawning or death and was stuck on the scoreboard. The background either showed black or the game playing behind me. My player was allowed to be shot during this time. The only action that led to me becoming “unstuck” was the game ending.
While in the scoreboard glitch, I was unable to press escape to exit. However, I was able to report, view profile, etc. in any player profile I clicked. It appeared the issue was purely exiting the scoreboard to play. One player in chat mentioned I should try to hit the “L” key, which I did. However, this too did not work. The only way out of this was either wait for the match to complete or restart my game. While waiting for one of the games to end, my computer also crashed (something it's never done before and I'm well over the recommended specifications).
Similarly, approximately 1.5 weeks ago, I died in game and could not be revived. Once dead, I was unable to access the respawn screen. My screen stayed grayed out, and the only action that removed this glitch was the game ending.
I am posting so the EA technical team can review. This appears to be triggered by deaths.
