Battlefield 6 won’t launch: EA AntiCheat error 0x186AA
BF6 will still not launch through the EA App. I have gone through every trouble shooting step posted both by EA and the community and nothing has helped. The only hint of what the issue might be is when I run the EA Javelin Anti-Cheat as and Administrator. This is the only time an error will populate in the event log. The event log reads the following:
"The description for Event ID 1 from source Application cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
EAAntiCheatService
The game bf6.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0x186AA
The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table"
I have uninstalled/re-installed both the Javelin Anti-Cheat as well as the entire games multiple times hoping to fix this issue with no results.
I pre-ordered the game through Steam, however I had the same issues and so I refunded the game. I bought the game through the EA App thinking that would solve the issue, however it did not. The game has been out for 6 days now and this is still an issue. I have not been able to play the game. This has been extremely frustrating. I have previously submitted a bug report for this issue over 4 days ago and there has been no responses. Please help with this.
