BF Pro & Phantom Edition — Season 2 Clarification Needed

Thanks for sharing your feedback here on the forums. Here is a clearer breakdown of how Battlefield Pro Tokens work with EA Play Pro and/or the BF6 Phantom Edition, and Season 2. (TL;DR at the bottom.)

Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition includes:

• The full base game
• 1 Battlefield Pro Token, which is redeemable against the season of first play

This token is a one-time entitlement. It does not renew each season.

How the Battlefield Pro Token works

• The token is automatically applied to the first eligible season played after activation.
• BF Pro Tokens do not transfer between seasons, as they are set as an entitlement for that specific season once applied.
• Once used for a season (e.g., Season 1), it cannot be moved to a later season.

Phantom Edition does not include Battlefield Pro for every season within the first year -- it includes one token tied to the first eligible season played.

If you played during Season 1

If you:

• Activated and played during Season 1

→ Your included Battlefield Pro Token was applied to Season 1.

For Season 2, a new Battlefield Pro / Battle Pass purchase is required if you want premium access.

Important clarification (EA Play Pro → Phantom Edition purchase)

If you:

• Previously had EA Play Pro (which grants temporary Phantom Edition access),
• Your subscription expired,
• You later purchased the Phantom Edition permanently,
• And this purchase occurred during Season 2,

→ You should receive a Battlefield Pro Token eligible for Season 2, provided no prior Phantom Edition token was permanently consumed.

EA Play Pro does not grant additional or stacking tokens. It provides access while active. A permanent Phantom Edition purchase grants one Pro Token for the first season played after that purchase.

If your token is missing

If you believe:

• You purchased Phantom Edition and never received your eligible season’s Pro Token
• Your prior EA Play Pro subscription created entitlement confusion
• Your token is not appearing for your first valid season
