Would CPU temp cause my usage to go up tho?! From what I understand that’s the other way around no?
Could be a CPU core scheduling issue. In this Reddit thread one guy had the same issue and it turns out the game was using his E-cores instead of the P-cores. Try disabling the E-cores or assigning the game process to the P-cores.

My 14900k has bf6 use all the P and E cores. I am on W10 though.
I also found with benchmarking that P cores only is significantly worse performance than P+E so you don't want to disable E cores (plus, the e-cores are useful for other programs) unless you really have to.
