BF6 Can't launch pass splash screen but I already turn off smooth motion
Hi all after I try troubleshooting by myself for 2 days I decided to ask here since there's no solution for me yet. I also attached 30 seconds clip that show my current issue.
OS: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 26100) (26100.ge_release.240331-1435)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
RAM: 32 GB Bus 5600 MHz
Direct X 12
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12GB
GPU Driver: GeForce Game Ready Driver 581.57
Storage: SSD
The issue is
1. Open via steam / from the game path / from "EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe"
2. Splash screen appear green bar goes full and disappear
3. Computer will freeze for 2-3 mins and sometime have black screen
There's also event viewer show error
The description for Event ID 1 from source Application cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
EAAntiCheatService
ExitType: 95 (29)
The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table
What I have tried
- Turn off smooth motion form Nvidia App
- Override all of Exploit Protection for bf6.exe and EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe
- Reinstalled and verify the game
- Reinstalled EAAntiCheatInstaller
- Reinstall and Update Nvidia Driver
- Delete Vanguard
- Repair and reinstall Visual C++
- Try follow this **guide** (Link: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2807960/discussions/0/591784958347971269/) But didn't work
- Remove HD texture DLC
- Enable Secure boot
- Disable Smooth Motion
- Disable internet while starting the game
- Download and Install EA Anti Cheat from EA Website
- Check Environment variable for **GAME_DATA_DIR** (Not found)

[SOLVED] Cause was a third-party service: Sangfor nac_monitor
In case anyone lands here with the same EAAntiCheatService ExitType: 95 (29) and the freeze after the splash screen:
Cause: a third-party service called nac_monitor from Sangfor Technology, part of a network access control client. EA Anti-Cheat doesn’t like it running, so the game never gets past the splash screen.
Fix:
- Win + R → services.msc
- Find nac_monitor → right-click → Properties
- Set Startup type to Disabled → click Stop → Apply
- Restart the PC
BF6 launched fine after that. If the service comes from a client managed by your work or school, check with your IT before disabling it permanently.
How I found it: none of the fixes in my original post worked, so I did a clean boot:
- Win + R → msconfig → Services tab → tick Hide all Microsoft services → Disable all
- Startup tab → open Task Manager → disable every startup item → restart
- The game launched, so I re-enabled the services in groups and restarted after each group until it broke again. The group that broke it held the culprit.
Tip: to check which software a suspicious service belongs to, run this in an admin Command Prompt and look at BINARY_PATH_NAME:
sc qc <service name>If your culprit turns out to be something else, the same clean-boot method should still find it. Hope this saves someone the 2 days it cost me.
