I honestly can't believe that this was what did it, but it works. I can now game on the newest drivers (26.8.1) without crashing. It was the AMD High Definition Audio Device and AMD Streaming Audio Device in my Device Manager. These control audio through DisplayPort and HDMI so it plays on monitor speakers. After disabling these devices like I show in my screenshot, I have zero issues running the game. I don't understand the mechanics, but this fixed it for me. I have a 9800X3D and a 9070XT. Please give it a try if you are having issues, I used to crash a few minutes into the game but have just played multiple matches on newest drivers after being forced to use 26.3.1 for months. 👍
I can't believe this worked...
IDK how you figured this out, but thank you.

pure trial and error going through device manager, whenever i was bored i would sit and disable stuff and relaunch. once i knew it was high def audio device i looked it up and there was a steam discussion where someone else figured it out on their own, its the most recent reply in the discussion
