BF6 always crashes with identical EA Javelin ExitType: 0xD9F6F9654DD8A675
Battlefield 6 crashes to desktop shortly after launch with no error message.
The crash is highly reproducible. Every time I launch the game, EA Javelin AntiCheat starts successfully, Battlefield launches and runs normally for a while, but the game eventually closes.
The most consistent Event Viewer entry is:
EA Javelin Anticheat — Event ID 1000
ExitType:
0xD9F6F9654DD8A675
(0xE7726BD6414F02C6)
This same ExitType appears repeatedly on every crash.
I also observed that the game can play its startup animation normally for an extended period. It eventually closes during the startup/online-service connection phase.
I have already tested:
- Battlefield 6 installed through Steam
- Reinstalled EA Javelin AntiCheat
- Verified Battlefield 6 files
- Secure Boot confirmed enabled
- UEFI confirmed enabled
- Memory Integrity / HVCI enabled
- Clean boot performed — no change
- Repaired Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables (x64 and x86) — no change
- DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth — completed successfully
- SFC /scannow — found and repaired corrupted system files, but the BF6 crash remained
- CrashDumps folder remains empty
There is also a Service Control Manager Event ID 7023 related to EAAntiCheatService after the crash.
I have seen “Failed setting up pipe server” in one previous Javelin Event 1000, but this does NOT occur consistently. The identical ExitType above is the consistent error across my crashes.
Could this ExitType be decoded or identified by the EA Javelin/AntiCheat team?
I would specifically like to know what:
0xD9F6F9654DD8A675 (0xE7726BD6414F02C6)
means internally, and whether this indicates a known Javelin issue or compatibility problem.
If the AntiCheat/Javelin engineering team needs diagnostic logs, ETW traces, crash dumps, DxDiag, or other files, please tell me exactly what to collect and where to upload them.
