BF6 crashing on its own, 10 FPS when opening the map and terrible FPS
This piece of crap game has been giving me problems since launch day. At first, it was fine, but then it started crashing suddenly, out of nowhere, without error, without warning, nothing. Since I had recently built my PC, it hadn't even been two weeks since I got it, so I started thinking it was a problem with some component and spent weeks, day and night, testing every **bleep** part. I spent the whole night running stress tests, memory tests, SSD tests, power supply tests, among many others. That's without mentioning the numerous times I formatted the operating system.
Now, it's clearer than day that the problem is this piece of crap game. The game crashes out of nowhere without warning, without error, I monitor it with MSI Afterburner and everything is normal. Not to mention that before this **bleep** update, the game had terrible FPS; I open the game map and it's at 10 FPS, and even running everything on low at 720p, this piece of crap keeps having FPS drops (?????)
As I said, I've done every kind of test imaginable. I've reinstalled my system so many times I've lost count. I've tested every possible video card driver and tried every BIOS setting, and NOTHING solves it...
It's simply a shame, I wanted to play with my friends but it's been very frustrating. I'm simply giving up until they confirm that the problems are resolved.
My setup:
i5-14400K
RTX 5060
Gigabyte B760M Gaming AC 1.x
Kingston 1TB 4.0 NVME SSD
2x16GB 3200MHz RAM
Deepcool LE240 Water Cooler
MSI MAG 650 Power Supply
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Every time this thing crashes, it generates a crash dump pointing to something called FSR2, even though my graphics card is NVIDIA, and even without using upscaling it keeps crashing... GPT SUMMARY ABOUT THE FILE:
The error in Battlefield 6 is caused by a failure in the bf6.exe!ffxFsr2ResourceIsNull module, resulting in an invalid pointer read attempt (0xc0000005). The problem occurs even with the graphics at minimum and without the use of DLSS or FSR. The failure is related to the FSR2 code, even though it is not enabled. This error leads to the game crashing unexpectedly.
