BF6 Crashing whole PC, what is this error code?
Hi, I need a dev to let me know and many others what this means? I've tried everything, the beta played perfectly but since the launch of BF6 I've had nothing but dramas. First I purchased it on EA and it was terrible, I got a refund and purchased on Steam, seemed better but eventually the issue came back.
I am now on my second windows fresh install of W11 25H2 and the issue was still here even though nothing but my drivers, BF and Steam are installed of a wipe and format and the issue is still affecting me. I was able to play a few games after disabling exploit protection but the issue eventually comes back. My VRAM in game was normal when it crashes too.
Aorus z490 Ultra with latest BIOS from July 2025, 10700K stock, Aorus 3080ti Xtreme stock, 32GB Corsair Vengance Pro with no XMP applied and game installed on a Samsung EVO Plus NVME M.2 SSD in AHCI. I 've tried just about everything except older drivers as I doubt they will work but I have tried the latest two, the BF one and the latest.
Now to the error code;

Turns out I don't believe hyperthreading was the issue as I thought earlier, what I now believe it to be is my motherboard is loosing it's secure boot keys.
I thought it was the hyperthreading as I also reset my keys at that same time. Until the next day the issue was back until I reset my keys again.
I was running an older BIOS in beta and I think that one F21 for the Aorus Z470 Ultra using a 10700K isn't affected by this as I only had 1 crash in the whole time even overclocked to 5Ghz just using the Advanced pre-set in the BIOS.
I just re enabled hyperthreading and it's fine as long as I reset my secure boot keys before playing.
I did see the error constantly come up in even viewer but I thought that was talking about the keys expire next year as that is what people were saying online.
