BF6 Netcode is just shocking for me.
I've now played this game for over 90+ hours and I've never been more frustrated with an FPS game. I've been a Battlefield fanboy for over 15 years and even enjoyed BF2042 (eventually). When I played the BF6 Beta, I absolutely loved it and assumed the full version would be the same but man was I wrong. I live near large data centers where they run BF6 servers from and I normally have a 4ms ping. On top of this I have a pretty decent rig and can play at 4k, with most settings set to low and get a locked 141 fps. With all of this in mind, I'm still getting constantly insta-killed and my bullets (from any range) only seem to get hit markers. I can't tell if I've shot with a one-shot sniper or shotgun or any other gun in the game as the result is always the same, INSTA-KILLED.
I ran 5m around a corner last night and then I heard the usual single hit and I was insta-killed but apparently I was hit 4 times.....and all headshots from a guy who was 80m away. Even shooting at a stationary player less than 20m away, I see and hear the hit markers but then bang, I'm insta-killed and it seems for the 15 shots I thought I hit him with, 1 or 2 registered. I went back onto BF4 to check if this was a problem with my PC or network but I could point, shoot and kill enemy players perfectly and also react to players shooting me.
Every now and again in BF6 I get a game were I get 40+ kills and very few deaths and the game feels like it did in the Beta. Over the last month I've had three full nights where the hit-reg was spot on and the game felt good but the rest of the time I'm going crazy. For all Battlefields Studios talk of their fixes, this is never mentioned and yet I see thousands of post with players have the same experience as me.
