BF6 on Steam can't launch. Opens black screen then crashes

I launch the game from steam and it opens a black window and then crashes. Sometimes there is an event in Windows Event Viewer about javelin anti-cheat having a problem, sometimes there is not. 4080...

There are many other threads from other with similar solutions. Unfortunately each seems to have a different solution so there isn't a silver bullet here.

I have still not found a solution but I'm leaving links in case they help anyone

- solutions mentioned
  - drives were BitLocker-encrpyted and part of data drives were BitLocker-encrypted and one was part of a degraded Storage Pool. EA AntiCheat could not initialise properly because of how Windows mounts protected or virtualised volumes.
