BF6 on Steam can't launch. Opens black screen then crashes

I can't even open the game. Haven't been able to since day one. It crashes the moment the game tries to open from steam. 

Still waiting on EA to acknowledge the problem...

After update 18.11 first time problem occur when joining server game crashes to windows without any error etc.

This is the error I see in Windows Event Viewer when my game crashes upon launch. It's definitely an anticheat issue:

The description for Event ID 1 from source Application cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event: 

EAAntiCheatService
The game bf6.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0x80000003

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

  • I was having a similar issue with bf6 on steam, the splash screen would pop up for anti cheat and it would close and stop running. I got it working in a really dumb way, had to got to the file location, find the EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe and run it as admin, this will make the splash screen pop up. While the splash screen is open I run the BF6.exe as admin at the same time. It gave me a new error that I had to close out of. then I ran the anti cheat as admin again and the game finally lunched. after that I was able to launch the game from steam as normal with no issues. hope this helps someone

I'm still unable to launch the game at all from Steam along with hundreds / thousands of others. Dozens of solutions found but none work for me or any others.

Hey EA, can we please get recognition that this is really a problem?

My game always crashes when I try to load into a match. There’s no error message, and I’ve already tried everything mentioned here.

Still nothing working for me yet unfortunately. And no recognition from EA that it's even a problem
