BF6 Phantom Edition Missing In-Game Entitlements
Hello,
I am reporting a confirmed Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition entitlement issue on PC (Steam).
Summary:
- I own Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition on Steam (activated via Gift / License).
- Steam Support has confirmed in writing that the Phantom Edition license and DLC are correctly attached and installed on my Steam account.
- However, in-game EA servers grant only Standard Edition entitlements.
Current in-game symptoms:
- “Get BF PRO” prompt is displayed
- Battlefield Pro / Battle Pass is locked
- 25 tier skips are missing
- Phantom Edition cosmetic content is missing
Important clarification:
At one point I temporarily installed Battlefield 6 via the EA App (Standard) only as a troubleshooting step to test synchronization.
That installation was never purchased, never owned, and was fully uninstalled.
Installation source does NOT determine ownership.
Ownership is determined by the Steam Phantom Edition license, which Steam has confirmed.
Troubleshooting status:
- All standard troubleshooting steps have been completed (restarts, relogins, reinstalls, Steam file verification).
- Steam Support confirmed there is no Steam-side or installation issue and redirected this case to EA as an in-game entitlement problem.
EA Support interaction (evidence):
During live chat, multiple EA agents confirmed:
- the issue cannot be resolved at first-line support level,
- this is an EA-side entitlement / backend issue,
- and the case was escalated internally to the team handling in-game issues.
Example statements from EA Support:
- “We are unable to check the issue from our side, so I will report this to the team who can check the in-game issues.”
- “This issue cannot be resolved from our level and requires backend/server-side handling.”
- “Yes, I will report to the team who can check the in-game issues.”
Request:
Please investigate missing Phantom Edition entitlements for Steam-PC players and confirm whether this issue is being addressed via backend entitlement correction.
This is not a purchase or Steam delivery issue, but a Phantom Edition entitlement mismatch on EA servers.
