BF6 starts splash screen, then crashes to desktop

I sent an email request, and have post to the forums, 4 month ago, still no reply from EA>

Still can't get BF6, or BF6 Redsec to run. I could get the Beta to work, but not these.
I have tried all the solutions listed on the forums, and then some.
I re-installed everything, 4 times now, 10 times if you count the anti-cheat.
Run Window fixes, sfc and Windows refresh install (no problems detected btw).
Have added all the exceptions if Win file checker, firewall, etc
Error log lock only shows anti-cheat not writing out an error code, other than an exit code 0x C0000604.
Would like to be able to run Redsec, then I can be sure that I can be safe to buy the full game.
Still waiting for a reply email EA?

  • I was experiencing crashes for a week now and i solved it like this, i realized that the problem was my ASTRILL vpn, so my actual solution was to unninstall LSP (Layered Service Provider) in the VPN ( thanks CHATGPT ) and then BF6 finally worked! Maybe this helps some people. Cheers

  • after having this issue for a year on and off, bc i would buy a whole new build... i fixed my issue with crashing at splash screen with my AMD builds.... turn down the power limit % and turn down the frequency and mV voltage a little bit. i have spent roughly 50+ hours trying everything that everyone said to do.... nothing worked except going into adrenaline > Performace > tuning
    i have attached screenshot

Well, if it's Javelin kicking you to desktop then it's a straightforward driver update solution... go update mouse, KB and GFX as a start point. For me it turned out to be the Corsair software being too old.

    Hey Fc_Stains

Thanks for taking the time to share all the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.

Some players faced the same exit code before and fixed it with the steps below. If you haven't already, it might be worth trying out:

    1. Windows Settings > Privacy and Security > App & Browser Control
    2. Under Exploit Protection Settings > Program Settings > Add program to customize > Choose exact file path
    3. Select the file path to bf6.exe > Open
    4. Check all Override System Settings options, turning flags that were automatically turned ON to OFF
    5. Click Apply
    6. Restart your game

Let us know if you've already tried these steps and how it went. Thanks!
