I bought the disc version and played for about 2 weeks. Occasionaly online but I'm 56 and often get owned by faster younger players. I like to play bots and it was fine. Think the bots in BF6 are worse than the ones in BF2042 which I liked playing in advanced bot mode. BF6 bots aren't as good but enough for me to have a mess around without trying too hard and gave me my short relaxing fix after a day at work. Sadly this only lasted about 2 weeks and they stopped the ability to host your own server. Thanks EA. Never mind I found Arc Raiders and am super into that. I play that online vs PVPVE only in solos but most people are friendly and just trying to do their quests. You do come up against the odd person who wants to shoot you but it's great fun with the proximity chat. I deleted my BF6 server experiences and created new ones but still can't get it working. I've not even played the new maps. They lost me as a customer. Played BF1942 for over 7 years in Forgotten Hope clans back in the day with the Forgotten Honor and custom maps every week. Played other BF games but BF1 is my favourite. I'm not overly keen on Modern Warfare settings and prefer WWII but BF5 was a complete disaster. I was soooo looking forward to that and badly felt let down. No bot modes and it only started getting a bit better near the end then they stopped support. EA have lost their main fan base as BF6 tried to capture the COD strays and it hasn't worked. Their online player base has plummeted, as once again they refuse to listen to what their regular fanbase want's in a BF game. Not small mazy maps and not drip fed content. When you play these maps constantly, they get boring after a while and people move onto other things until there's new maps released and the cycle continues. Anyway enough of my disappointment ... I had high hopes for BF6 as they made all the right noises and promoted it properly this time (cough cough, BF5). However in the end they just delivered a decent COD clone with BF elements.
