challenges/badge delay & Controller play issues

Question

I have noticed the badge's sometimes don't appear despite completing challenges. I worked towards the platinum Assault class badge and for some reason unlike the gun challenges/gun badges (that seem to be instant) the assault badge was not and showed up the next day. My boyfriend experienced the same thing with not receiving his. I am happy I got it but is it normal for a delay to receiving these?

I also have a PC that I play the game through steam. I plug in an Xbox controller to play that way which is just my preference (still learning m&k) but whenever I am playing larger scale modes and I can choose a respawn point, the game has the worst glitching when trying to do so. If i try to spawn on a vehicle the selection point thing (sorry idk the word) will bounce around EVERYWHERE especially in a short radius, same for teammates close to objectives, etc. it glitches to the point I will try to redeploy on a point but somehow end up in a transport vehicle or a completely separate point. I don't think there is anything wrong with my controller, I know one of my friends on PlayStation that also has the same issue with the bouncing and just delays the game to frustrating points sometimes. Not unplayable but my only frustration with this game. I know it's early days so I am not too worried but want to see if this is common with anyone else :)

I am also having the badge progress issue, specifically with the 2nd tier engineer class assignment. I finished tier 2 (and should have earned the silver class badge) and the badge is not unlocked. I suspected starting the tier 3 assignment challenge would help and it did not. When I go to the badge in the profile editing page, it says that I need to complete 1 assignment to unlock the silver engineer badge, but when I go to the challenges, it is clearly completed.
