Connection Failed/Account disabled

I have been playing Hardcore mode for about 5 games in a row, Racking up 50+ kills as the majority or the 'players' were bots except maybe 3-4 people in each time who were actual players.

Then all of a sudden i get Disconnected with a Connection Failed Error pop up so i turn the game off, take a little break, come back to my pc start the game up again to check if the error is gone and instead of it being gone i get 'Your account has been Disabled' pop up....

I have not violated any User Agreements, Even my EA acount has no Penalties on it.

(Context) The Hardcore servers im reffering to are the ones you select a gamemode from the multiplayer tab and click to play which automatically connects you to a game. its filled with bots except maybe 5-6 real players per team racking up 50/70+ kills per game due to the bots being predictable with how they move around the maps. So a well possitioned tank and boom, 50+kills easy.

Im wondering if the Anti-cheat flagged my account for leveling up too fast due to the amount of kills vs the bots in an official lobby with Full XP... I've no idea why they even alow these kinds of servers if you get banned for playing on them. Let alone official ones....

Is this a common issue?

Same thing happened to me. I was also in a hardcore server, was kicked, was told the server was full, and then put me in a queue with 2500 players in front of me. Restarted and went to log into another game, but found out my account/bf6 was banned. Nothing appears in my account accusing me of violating the terms and conditions - so I can't even submit a ticket. Spoke to someone via a chat, but that went nowhere. They had no idea. Given the amount of people this has affected in the last 24 hours, how can we get ea to acknowledge the issue? Otherwise I'll have to ask for a refund.

Same here. I managed to get through to Live Chat...they were not helpful. Opened an appeal, and they just gave me a canned response. This is ridiculous. The fact that support is almost impossible to get, and same for refunds? Ya'll are flirting with a class action lawsuit. Absolutely insane.

  • There is a way to get a little more info about these false bans. Go to your account settings on their ea website and download your data. Open the account info json file in notepad or something. Mine says "COMPETITIVE_ADVANTAGE". All in using is a Logitech G600 mouse and a corsair keyboard. I don't know how any of that is an advantage. My mouse is capable of running macros but I wasn't using any.

I dont have any of those 'problematic devices' its been so frustrating as ive been waiting for days now with no response from EA to my appeal and im sure alot of people are still waiting for a response to these issues, The fact is that they havent even addressed this issue with a forum post or anything at all.  Every single article i see here has a ' Go to EA support and appeal/ submit a ticket' response... I managed to get into a live chat with someone from EA support and all they told me was 'Go appeal the ban' even tho like i showed in the pictures provided i have no bans to appeal.

I'm giving them one more day and if nothing, ill be refunding the game and never buying an EA product again.

  • They will not acknowledge that there is a problem with the anti-cheat and the false bans. Doing so would be an admission of guilt and could make it possible to sue them.
