Connection issue, where does it come from?

For several days now, I have been having connection problems, which I did not have during the first two weeks, even though nothing has changed. I have good latency and no packet loss, so I don't understand where the problem is coming from.

Two screenshots are attached. Thank you in advance for your help.

  • TheOGZorro that's the latency variation icon. Otherwise known as ping time fluctuation.

I suggest running a traceroute to the game servers and see if ping time fluctuations show up anywhere.

You can also run a jitter test on Cloudflare's website. Jitter is the technical term for ping time fluctuations.

It's also possible the ping time fluctuations are occuring inside the data center network where the game servers are hosted. The traceroute can't probe into there.

The easiest way to test if the ping fluctuations are coming from the game server data center is to connect to a different game server data center in a different region.

The easiest way to connect to a data center in a different region is with the server browser.

Is the PC connected to wifi or wired ethernet?
