  • I am having connection issues as well on PS5 with high ping making me rubber band. I’ve tried changing my dns setting with google and cloudflare as suggested and no luck

the 3 yellow stacked rectangles indicate a low FPS issue.

The blue Client Frame Time (CFT) line in the graph is at 20ms. This means your framerate is 50fps.

    1000ms ÷ 20ms = 50fps

You need a framerate of at least 60fps to keep time nudge (TN) from spiking up and causing network lag. The network lag you're experiencing is due to your framerate dropping below 60fps.

You can read more about time nudge here

Please post a screenshot with the FPS Performance Overlay on-screen so we can tell if the CPU or GPU is causing the low framerate issue.

Also download HWiNFO and post a screenshot of your System Summary so we can look at your PC specs.

radesazia thank you for posting screenshots. I see the issue causing fps drops below 60fps.

HWiNFO shows memory is in single channel mode instead of dual channel mode. This is limiting CPU performance and causing fps drops below 60fps.

Two identical memory sticks are needed for dual channel memory. The ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming 4 motherboard user manual recommends installing the two memory sticks into memory slots A2 and B2.

There can be multiple reasons. The two most common reasons are a CPU bottleneck limiting GPU performance and a low render resolution.

The CPU feeds the GPU rendering frames. If the CPU is maxed out and isn't able to keep feeding frames to the GPU fast enough. Then the GPU sits idle with nothing to do while it waits for the next frame to render from the CPU.

If the render resolution is low then the GPU doesn't work as hard because it takes less work to render a low resolution compared to a high resolution.
