CPU fps drops significantly
Dear EA and gamers!
I want to share my case with Battlefield 6.
I have 7700x (PBO, watercooled)
4070 Super GPU
32 gb ram 6400 MT
When I first played battlefield 6 it was ok, getting 140-150 fps on high settings with 1440p display.
But then suddenly when I wanted to play next day I had only 70-80 fps. And the main issue is CPU
performance overlay shows that my GPU output is 150 fps, while CPU constantly goes between 60-100. One time my CPU fps went down to 25-50 which unplayable!
Arguments against my “dumbness”:
AMD expo on, Resize Bar on, Drivers updated, heck I even reinstalled windows just for this game, thinking maybe there is corrupt config in my PC.
I tried that user.cfg, didnt help.
tried changing settings like fullscreen and back to borderless, doesnt help.
Other games like CS2 working correctly and fps aligns with performance videos of other similar pc setup.
EA why do I have to sit and do everything, check the user found “fixes” on internet instead of playing the game i bought to play. Do you pay me as a QA? Do I have to write this feedback and bug with CPU? Does my time so invaluable for me and for you?
I would rethink if I was dumb player who doesnt know anything about PC gaming “maybe i am doing something wrong” , but I managed to reinstall Windows deleting my files, and checking hardware, just to play one game. i have a CS degree, i have been tinkering with pcs since childhood, but does my knowledge of pc justify your game? Should i play it? Its my first ever battlefield game. I liked it, but this issue, it just drives me off!
Some players suggest turning off hyperthreading, i didnt do that. Why should i? Leaving my performance on the table for other games and apps just because EA doesn’t fix it? What an audacity?!!
Please, notice my cry and fix it!
Dear, community, if you have similar issue, please share your cases or fix ideas.
