Cpu/motherboard died.

 Complete freeze yesterday during new reef map, reset button on the case made my monitors lose signal, but the fans were still spinning fast as i would still be playing battlefield. Had to switch off the psu to get my pc to stop, power button did not function either. The worst thing after was that now my cpu light is on the motherboard and it won't boot, already tried all the tricks and nothing worked. So either it was a coincidence with my asrock motherboard killing the cpu or battlefield 6 actually butchered my system. Heading to retail store where i bought my mobo and hope they can test it.

9800x3d

Arctic freezr 3 240mm

    Don't computers have protection for that kjnd if stuff? Anyway my temps have always been in normal ranges, i dont think it had overheated.

    CPU is generally very well protected, and if nothing overheated than I doubt it was caused by the game.  Personally, I don't think you have enough cooler for the 9800, so I'm hoping you weren't running in Ultra settings and ignoring all the signs of over-temp.  I run a 360 EK AIO and I still don't love my CPU temps on a 7800.

    I do hope it's nothing serious though.  Sucks when a component goes out and you're without your regular computer.
