Cross Play Help - PS5 and PC same EA account

I purchased a copy of BF6 for both PS5 and PC so that my wife and I can play together, but both PSN and Steam accounts are linked to the same (my) EA account. She's playing with friends on PS5, but I'm worried that when I start up my Steam copy we won't be able to play together because of the potential EA account conflict.

Does anyone know if this is the case or if I would need to solve this by un-linking my Steam account from EA (and I guess creating a new one)?

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide!

Not an option- I'm not buying PS Plus a second time for one game.

I'll say just make a new psn, new EA and link the new EA acc to the new PSN. Then purchase BF6 on the new PSN account.

  • I have a similar question -- I have a PS5 and a PC. My kids play on the PS5 and I play on PC. I'd like to buy them the game on PS5 so we can play together, but my EA account is linked to my PSN account. I was going to unlink it and set up a new EA account to link to my PSN, but I'm apparently not able to do that. Will we be able to play together?
