exactly the same happened to me, never had anny issues or crashes. After update 1.0.1.6 DX12 error started. 
CPU 9800X3D/ GPU RTX5070TI (581.57)

For me a temp fix was to switch to borderless -> No error after 12+ hours of playtime.
When i switch back to fullscreen it starts crashing again.

Do you guys have AMD CPU and EXPO enabled? 

IF SO, then download OCCT, run CPU+RAM Test if it fails, disable EXPO in BIOS and try BF6 again.

Im still dealing with this issue, restarted system, downloaded new drivers for Nvidia, downloaded new windows update, still not sure what to do. Was working fine and now suddenly cant play anymore

Same **bleep**ing thing.  No other game crashes... ever.  5800x3D, 3080, and 64GB of DDR4 3800 RAM, not at VRAM limit, happens in borderless and fullscreen.  Common denominator is BF6.  Completed a few Cyberpunk and BG3 sessions the last couple years with this config.  This makes no **bleep**ing sense.

Yes, drivers are updated.
