DIRECTX ERROR

I've been experiencing DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG whenever I play Battlefield 6 for around 20-30mins. It happens only on BF6, other games are okay. My GPU driver is up to date. Here's the screenshot below for reference:

Troubleshoots I tried so far:

GPU Driver Update

Update BIOS

Underclock GPU

Windows Update

Switch Engineering to Assault in Menu

Apply -dx11 on Steam Launch properties

SPECS:

Ryzen 7 9700x

9060 XT 16GB

32GB RAM 6000MT/S

MSI B850M Mortar Wifi

Corsair RM650 80+ Gold

Attached is my DxDiag information.

Hope you have anything to do to solve this issue.

Thank you!

Same problem, same GPU. I am pissed that i need to make the game looks like potato to even play. i mean its less often when u disable everything in AMD Adrenaline.

And also in the game - most important is FSR, TAA works for me

Just to add to the conversation:

The new AMD GPU drivers seem to be more aggressiv in boosting gpu clockspeeds & voltage overall.

Setting the Clockspeed as you suggested is a good start.

Using the "Undervolt" Preset might help.

Some people suggest to DDU and go to an older GPU Driver Version.

I needed to manually downclock my 7900xtx to stop it from crashing.

MigzSaints check in Windows Event Viewer for events about BF6 or EA anticheat.

Check under 'Windows Logs / Application'.

If you have to down-clock your GPU or Disable XMP Its the game not the driver/hardware.

My Intel i910920x runs @ 4.6GHz on XMP and 5.1GHz all cores OC'd                My 3090 runs at 2050MHz without overclocking,  Box speed is 1695 boost 1985.

I won the silicone lottery on this card, and I'll sure as $hit wont gimp it for ONE of the 5 games I play.

Game needs to be fixed, PERIOD

OskooI_007 The game still crashing after a while. Don't know what's the issue. It would be okay after the troubleshoot but eventually it will crash again :(

MigzSaints try disabling EXPO/XMP memory overclocking in motherboard BIOS settings.
