Ea connection failed.

I am getting the same exact errors. Gotta chock it up to AWS issues, but I have not seen an official response. I can play usually after trying for an hour or more with repairing the EA app and game itself. Then if I get past the server connection in game, it may or may not show that I have not purchased the game. Would recommend:

Kill all EA services in task manager. 

Repair game files 5-10 times. 

Cross fingers.

Repair EA app. 

Pray to the Cloud IT department at AWS. 

Never push updates on Fridays. 

Do these is any order and maybe we get on in just under 2 hours. 

Absolutely insane… you would think their own app will work. I just wanna play 🥲 and that would be cool, if we could even play 😆

Recover EA app steps:

Select pancake menu on top left. Select Help. Select app recovery.

Having the same problem. It's driving me crazy. I've uninstalled both the game and the app. And redownloading both was like working with old 586kb internet again. Constantly dropping connections, saying servers lost connection. Finally get it all installed again and the game says I don''t have multiplayer installed.
Meanwhile I'm streaming movies, and able to play other games on Steam, but the EA app refuses to work properly.

Same issue here over and over again - repair app stalls at 2% and says paused. Close App restart same thing, cancel and start app  - make sure your connected to the internet - All other  games work , 600mbps fiber internet works fine,, Reconnect app fails again, or lets me in the EA lobby and launch game - failed u are not connected the EA App ... WT Serious F  is going on. Installed 4 days ago - 14 hours in game so far when it works... My Pc is well over the recommended specs as well ///

I found a solution that so far is working!!! Changing the DNS serves too 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 hope that helps!

It worked! So we are 100% getting a purple and black checkerboard skin soon hopefully with AWS. 

Glad it worked! Yeah I’ll be expecting my skin Amazon! At least free prime for a few months haha
