EA server connection error issue 1:8600

Dear EA Support Team,

I am experiencing persistent connection errors when attempting to access your game. Despite following all troubleshooting steps available online—including reinstalling the game, clearing cache files, modifying DNS settings, changing routers, removing USB devices, resetting DNS, adjusting firewall settings, and using a VPN—the issue remains unresolved.  

The only temporary workaround I have found is changing the LAN port, which allows me to connect for about two hours before the error reappears. This strongly suggests that the problem is not isolated to my system, but may be related to specific regions or ISPs.  

The game itself is highly enjoyable, but these recurring errors are diminishing the overall experience. I kindly request that EA investigate this matter urgently, as it appears to affect multiple players under similar conditions.

  • I experienced the same issue as you. I performed several known troubleshooting steps specific to that problem, but they did not resolve it.

    During the BF6 installation process, I monitored the Windows system's health through the display screen. This included observing the behavior of my DIY custom-built machine, tracking TCP/IP packet input/output stream trends, and detecting any hardware anomalies.

    An event occurred that could not have happened naturally (I've experienced the same issue many times before). I immediately disconnected from the BF6 server and took the necessary corrective actions. Although the issue was resolved, several cosmetic problems remained.     Even after the BF6 issue occurred, my Windows 10 ESU experienced no problems whatsoever during gameplay in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4, II, or III. Normal usage outside of gaming was also unaffected. However, the problem reappeared when launching BF6.

    Therefore, to eliminate the fault occurring on the Windows OS system side, I performed the following actions. I do not claim that the same troubleshooting steps are necessary for everyone with different machine environments.

    1. Remove all physical memory modules and reinsert them into different slots than their original positions when the issue occurred. Disconnect all cables for two minutes.

    2. Reconnect all cables.

    3. Boot the device into BIOS mode. Verify all settings, including date and time, ensure consistency, and save. Some affected users might not be able to boot into BIOS mode.

    4. Format the internal SSD drive (not the boot drive) where BF6 is installed to NTFS.

    5. Format the boot drive to NTFS.

    6. Restore the Windows 10 system from before BF6 installation to the SSD boot drive.

    7. Install BF6 1.1.2.0 onto the internal SSD drive. This drive is dedicated to Electronic Arts games.

    8. BINGO! The Windows 10 ESU system and BF6 1.1.2.0 have been running normally and smoothly since November 20th, excluding issues listed in Electronic Arts' Known Issues.
