Since the start of Season 5 in Battlefield 6, the game launches via the EA app, but it fails to even load the main menu and displays this error message: error code 0:89001s:4294967275f. I paid a significant amount of money for this game, and now I can't even play it?! The issue must lie with your verification system—I downloaded the game on Steam and it works fine there, so the problem is clearly on your end. I’ve tried everything: completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game, using the "repair" function, clearing the cache, and resetting the DNS—nothing works. This concerns the PC version.

The game is working now, even with a wired connection; I briefly turned my router off and back on, and there are no issues with the Ethernet cable—which makes sense, given that I’ve been saying all along that the free version of *Redsec* was playable via Steam. So, if anyone else runs into this, try resetting your router; it worked for me. Most importantly, the Czech online store where I bought the game helped me out within half a day—whereas I’ve been dealing with EA support for three days, and they haven’t offered a single useful piece of advice.

That doesn't necessarily mean you have an IP ban. It most likely means there's an issue with your wired connection. Check to make sure it's using IPv4. You also may want to try swapping out your ethernet cable.

Hello, today I encountered an issue with an error. I tried connecting via the Wi-Fi on my PC (up until now, I’ve been using a wired connection), and I also tried using a mobile hotspot from my phone—the game works in both cases. This suggests I might have an IP ban, right? I don’t understand why, though, as I haven’t violated any rules. What should I do now?

I tried disabling and re-enabling TPM and repairing the anti-cheat (running as administrator); I’ve attached screenshots of the launch process. I’ve also included photos of what happens when I try to launch it via Steam—though I don’t actually own the game there (only the Redsec mod is present). I do own the game on EA, but it doesn’t work there either.

I don't use a VPN. I launch the game by opening the EA client/app on my PC and clicking "Play Battlefield 6." A small anti-cheat window appears, then the game starts, displays "Connecting," and finally a window pops up with an error message.

Thanks again. Do you happen to be using a VPN? Also, how exactly are you launching the game?

Are you using any overlays? If so, try disabling them.

Thanks for checking. Next, let's repair AntiCheat.

Go to C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 6 (or wherever your BF6 is installed)

Open the _Installer folder

Open EA Anti-Cheat

Right clibk on EAAntiCheat.Installer.eze and choose Run as Administrator

Select BF6 from the menu and hit Repair

Try playing again when this completes

Let me know what happens.

Hi, I checked that first and it’s fine. Also, I can launch the free version on Steam, so the problem must be elsewhere—I suspect my account isn't being verified correctly.
