Same issue here. Digital copy on my son’s Xbox live account. Worked fine till shortly after the update. There’s a much larger thread if you search the error code on the forum with ~30+ replies. Some posters say EA has acknowledged a widespread issue that they are working on.

No resolution that I am aware of. I think most folks are hoping it will be fixed in the February update. My gut tells me that this will not be fixed anytime soon because not enough folks are opening support tickets to raise this issue up.

I contacted support again today via chat since I have not heard back from them at all on this issue.
Here is EA's Chat Support response to this issue:
Error code 1:86001S:89001S:9C:-13561655840 in Battlefield 6 (BF6) is a known issue that primarily affects Xbox teen and child accounts following recent game updates. This error is an authentication failure specifically related to how EA's servers verify licenses for underage profiles, which is why your adult accounts work on the same network and console.
While EA has not yet released a universal patch, the community has identified several workarounds:
Change EA Account Authentication (Most Successful): Log into the teen's EA account on a web browser and enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Some users report that after enabling 2FA, the game will prompt for a manual identity confirmation via email/phone upon launch, which bypasses the error loop.
Clear Local Save Data:
- Highlight the BF6 tile on the Xbox dashboard and press the Menu button.
- Select Manage game and add-ons > Saved data.
- Delete the file with the gamertag (select "Delete from console")
Update License via Microsoft Store: Manually check the Microsoft Store on the console for any small "license" or "add-on" updates for Battlefield 6 that may not have triggered automatically.
Please try these steps it will help you to resolve your issue if you still face same problem then you can get back to us, we will be happy to help you.
I doubt any of these troubleshooting steps will work for any of you reading this post. I have tried most of these steps which I have found in other forums, but I figured I would post to keep folks updated.
