So i posted about the same problem in another thread, but i bump this one as well, since it contains more information for other affected users. My son's account is unable to play BF6 with the same error message. Me and his brother, who is 15, play without issues. The interesting thing is that:
- He was UNABLE to play Battlefront 2 with his account as well.
- He CAN play BF2042.
- Was playing BF6 at launch, no issues, UNTIL the latest update.
- Trying to log into his EA account, it tries to send verification code to the parent /Me/, but afterwards gives error.
- I DON'T have his EA account in my family settings, because it's generated automatically when he first tried to play an EA title on his Xbox. The information when trying to access it shows some random generated EA e-mail, i have no access to.
- I've changed his birth date on Xbox, hoping it will fix his issue with EA, but to no avail.
It's a loop hole, the EA support is useless, i can't link his xbox to a new EA account. I've spent hours and hours to find a solution. Nothing... and i'm slowly going nuts.
We got frustrated and ended up creating a new account/username for him so he can now play but he had to start over.

How did you do that without having to repurchase the game?

We just created a new player tag/profile with a new email address (created a new gmail) and logged in as the new person since the game is already downloaded on the Xbox. Only downside was starting from scratch
