Feedback: Improving REDSEC Mode Fairness

  1. Add a “Match Paid Players Only” Option
Since REDSEC mode is free, it attracts a large number of cheaters who can easily create new accounts without any cost. Allowing players to opt out of matches that include free accounts would greatly improve fairness and gameplay quality.
  2. Implement a Trust or Reputation System
Introduce a player trust score based on verified accounts, playtime, and fair-play history. Matchmaking can then prioritize trustworthy players and reduce encounters with cheaters.
  3. Require Basic Verification for Free Accounts
Adding simple phone or hardware verification for free users would raise the barrier for cheat account creation without negatively affecting legitimate players.
  4. Add Post-Match Fair-Play Voting
After each match, let players quickly report or commend others. Aggregated reports could be used to trigger fast automated reviews or temporary restrictions.
  5. Reward Verified or Paid Players
Offer small XP or cosmetic bonuses to verified or paid players in REDSEC mode. This helps motivate players to stay legitimate and support a healthy ecosystem.
