Game Crash: EA Javelin Anticheat ExitType: 95

After playing the game for some time, the game crashes with no error message. Game is played on PC through Steam.

The game first tabs out, and then after tabbing out, crashes in a few seconds. Upon looking at the event viewer, there is an EA Javelin Anticheat exittype: 95 error that indicates Javelin anticheat is causing the game to crash. The only programs running are chrome, steam, and bf6.

  • Hi, error #95 usually means that EA Javelin Anticheat has detected an unacceptable configuration.

Please make sure that no cheat-related, tampering, VPN, or proxy software is active, then restart the game. EA Javelin Anticheat may close the game and EA services if cheat tools or conflicting software are detected.

We also recommend checking for outdated or conflicting software, especially hardware-related tools such as fan control interfaces or similar programs. Please make sure your device drivers and software are fully up to date.

  • Is there a way to know what software caused the conflict? How do I know, as a user, what is deemed unacceptable and what isn't? Am I supposed to assume any fan control or resource monitoring software is unacceptable to use? I tried the common troubleshooting issues but there is no way to guarantee a fix or know what about my setup is unacceptable and there wasn't even an error message through javelin. I had to go to the Windows event log. Seems like there is a long way to go to prevent false positives. I don't have a VPN or proxy, and I close both iCue and GCC when I play even though I really shouldn't have to.
