Game Crash PC/Steam
I'm experiencing consistent crashes in Battlefield 6 on PC (Steam) and haven't been able to find a solution.
System:
- Windows 11
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080
- Latest NVIDIA Game Ready Driver 610.88
- Game launched through Steam/EA App
Issue:
- Battlefield launches normally.
- The game crashes approximately 1 minute after opening (sometimes before or shortly after joining a match).
- The game displays ExitType: 95 (37).
- Windows Reliability Monitor reports the following:
- Exception Code: 0xC0000005 (Access Violation)
- Faulting Application: bf6.exe
- Faulting Module: bf6.exe
- Game Version: 1.0.437.12728
- Exception Offset: 0x0000000005481d95
- Problem Event Name: AutoVerifierV2
The crash occurs at the same fault offset every time.
I've also generated and reviewed the Windows crash dump (.mdmp), but it doesn't point to a specific driver or DLL outside of bf6.exe.
For comparison, I can play other demanding games for 40–60 minutes before experiencing any issues, so this does not appear to be an immediate system stability problem.
Has anyone else experienced ExitType: 95 (37) with a 0xC0000005 access violation, or has EA identified a fix? Any help would be appreciated.
