The constant crashing during normal gameplay is slowly really getting on my nerves. And the random mouse stutter that comes and goes.

Is this part of the fsr2ResourceisNull error that has me crashing to desktop non-stop? Hope so

Hi folks,
Thank you again to everyone who has shared crash reports so far -- they’ve been incredibly helpful as we work through this issue. At this point, the team has enough data to continue their investigation, so you don’t need to submit additional crash reports for now. We understand how frustrating this is, and we want to assure you that our team is actively investigating the situation. Although we cannot provide any promises or timelines just yet, progress is being made.
‼️ Potential Workarounds
In the meantime, here are several workarounds that have helped many players return to the game. We recognise that some steps aren’t ideal, but they’ve shown positive results for a number of affected players:
1. Remove “Levels” Folders (Player-Reported)
Some players have had success with the following:
- Open your Battlefield 6 installation directory
- Use the File Explorer search bar to search for “levels”
- Delete all “levels” folders that appear
- Run a Repair (Steam or EA app)
2. Delete TOC Files (Alternative Map-Loading Fix)
Another player-reported fix that has resolved the map-loading crash for some:
- Go to your game installation directory
- Use the search bar to search for “toc”
- Delete all TOC files you find (these are small internal index files, ~200MB total)
- Run a Repair (Steam or EA app)
This workaround specifically targets issues where the game crashes before loading screens appear or when switching maps.
3. Crashing When Entering Eastwood
If you're crashing specifically when loading into Eastwood:
Delete the following file:
Data\Win32\game\glaciermp\levels\mp_eastwood\mp_eastwood.toc
Then run a Repair.4. Crashing When Loading Into Specific Maps
If the crash occurs on any of these maps:
- Cairo
- Badlands
- Eastwood
Try this:
Navigate to:
Data\Win32\game\glaciermp\levels\
Delete all files inside that folder
Run a Repair.5. Full Reinstall (Last Resort)
Not ideal, but this has resolved the issue for some:
- Uninstall the game
- Reboot your PC
- Reinstall the game
Still Crashing After All of This?
If none of the above options work, please sit tight -- the team is actively tracking the remaining scenarios using the data that has already been collected. We’re not requesting additional crash reports or dumps at this time, as the team has everything they need to continue investigating.
These workarounds aren’t permanent solutions, but rather temporary measures that have helped others while we work toward a proper solution. We genuinely appreciate your patience, time, and all the reports you’ve previously sent in; they’ve helped us narrow down the issue significantly.
Thank you.

EGY_AFIFI It seems to have worked for me. After doing this, I managed to join a "Siege of Cairo", "Badlands" and "Eastwood" match with success. Thanks.

This was happening to me when I bought the game on Steam (after playing the beta just fine). I refunded the game. Figured I'd give the free-trial a shot... same thing is happening, loading a map = crash or I get to play for a few minutes and crash. Insane this is still happening.

What APP still crashes after couple of minutes??
Seems you have another issue which is irrelevant to this one.
The issue here the game crashes back to desktop upon clicking start and before showing the loading screen or upon changing maps, we all concluded that 2 or 3 maps "stated up there" are having trouble loading. the game crashes and doesn't show any error report/code.
however;
the .toc files are internal identifiers for maps .cas core files.
to solve map loading crash, these steps solved my issue.
1-On the game main directory window
2-Run a search for "toc"
3-Delete all toc files found by the search "all these files are 200MB only"
4-Open EA APP or STEAM and start repairing the game - YvusLeGrand3 months agoSeasoned Newcomer

That's like the 4 thing I did, and nothing, started to have that issue when the new update came out, and I even cleaned the fans on the PS5, but the same problem occurs, doesn't happen with other games, just BF6...
