Game Crashes To a Black Screen After Launch

Hey, folks

We are investigating reports from players with AMD graphics card systems who crash when starting Battlefield 6. This does not seem to affect all players, and we are currently working to reproduce the issue internally to determine the next steps.

Some players have stated that Adrenalin 26.5.2 does not cause this issue. You can try performing a clean driver install, as outlined in our support article here: https://help.ea.com/en/articles/technical-issues/pc-graphics-troubleshooting/

AMD:
Clean uninstall the drivers.
One of the best ways is the AMD Cleanup Utility
Once installed, reboot, then upgrade your AMD drivers to the latest version.

Test it out and see if you get past the black screen.

I followed the steps in this thread, but the problem persists. I have also tried:

Reinstalling the game; Reinstalling the AC; Reinstalling the graphics card driver; Disabling the antivirus / Adding an exception; Running the game as Administrator.

Still no solution.

Hey everyone, my issue turned out to be the graphics card driver; I rolled back to the old driver and it worked fine. I use an RX 7600 and had the latest driver version (26.6.2) installed, but I’ve now reverted to version 26.6.1 and it’s working perfectly.

just checked this & saw mine was .2 also & rolled it back to .1 & it worked straight away!!! You Legend thx so much!
