Game not launching -Steam

I've updated the game as well as my drivers, have verified the game integrity files, and for whatever reason the game will load and remain stagnant in the launching game action after pressing play on Steam and I've now executed all possible reasonings as to why it wouldn't load. Is there some sort of bug with the most recent update? Is anyone else essentially not able to even start the game?
