Ghosting despite high FPS (140+)

The game appears stuttery or ghosty despite the game reporting a high FPS. I initially thought it's the freesync not working but checking it again it doesn't look like screen tearing but an actual ghosting. Almost like having a low frame rate.

I tried with and without: FSR, VSYNC. Freesync, raw mouse input. I tried a different model of a monitor but the issue persists.

I have 7800x3d, Radeon 6900XT and 64GB RAM. Playing on 1440p.

Like mentioned, initially i thought it was a freesync problem but I don't think it has anything to do with it: https://forums.ea.com/discussions/battlefield-6-technical-issues-en/freesync-only-working-in-3rd-person-view-vehicles/12927611

  • MoreFeeYouS the ghosting looks like something causes by temporal anti-aliasing (TAA) or FSR.

Perhaps a motion blur setting in BF6 graphics settings.
