Hard freezing PC while playing
After launching BF6 and playing for 1-20 minutes (could even crash right as the EA logo appears), my PC just goes black, turning off Razer Chroma and not responding to any command at all from power button or keyboard, but the PC stays powered and the only way to turn it off is to unplug the power cable. Had no issues playing the beta version. Only changed CPU.
Event Viewer does not show any issues when this happens.
Things I have tried:
- Rollback drivers
- Clean uninstalling and installing 596.49 drivers
- Installing game on different SSD
- Verifying game files
- Repairing EA Anti-cheat
- Underclocking with MSI Afterburner
- Setting TDR delay to 10, 8, 6
- Disabling overlays
- Deleting Meta Horizon Link drivers
- Running as admin
- Launching with no background apps
- Turning off core isolation in Windows Defender
- Turning off exploit protection
- Disabling XMP
- Updating BIOS
Specs are: Ryzen 9 5950X, RTX 3070, 32GB DDR4, Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite, Win 11.
So far, after trying almost everything, the issue is not gone.
