Having mouse input issues in Battlefield 6?

When playing Battlefield 6 with a mouse, there is a lot of tearing and stuttering. There is no frame drop when tearing occurs. My 1% FPS values are almost the same as the FPS. However, there is no problem whatsoever with the controller (DualSense). It's very smooth, like butter. My mouse is a Ninjutso Sora V2. I also tried it with Lamzu Atlantis and Asus Harpe Ace, but the problem persisted. It doesn't matter if raw input is on or off, the problem continues.

This problem was also present in the game's beta. (I downloaded it from the EA App.) That's why I didn't want to buy it. After Redsec came out, I downloaded it from Steam and saw that the problem persisted.

The issue doesn't occur in Battlefield 2042, BF 1, or other EA games. It's only in Battlefield 6. I think it's a mouse input issue. I've seen a few other people experiencing the same problem. They've mentioned it on Reddit and here. I hope the developers are aware of this and develop a solution.

I'm not sure how clear it is, but I uploaded a video to show the difference in smoothness between the mouse and DualSense.

I was just about to say exactly what you said. My message was ready. My mouse feels like it's polling at 125 MHz. Setting it to 2000 MHz or 4000 MHz doesn't make any difference.

Hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of people are playing this game. Don't they notice this issue? I wonder if there are people who can play without any problems. It's impossible not to notice this, especially if you have a monitor with 240 Hz and low response time.

If they don't acknowledge the existence of this problem, that's their choice. I won't buy it either. I won't make the same mistake I made with EA FC.

  • I also have this problem. There is a microstutter that almost looks like screen tearing or badly configured GSync, but it happens ONLY with mouse input, and at times disappears when in a vehicle, so long as the camera is not in 1st person soldier POV.

It is definitely mouse input because the game runs super smooth on controller at 150fps on my rig, which is a 4090, Ryzen 5700X3D, 32GB RAM, M2 drive. Battle royale is horrible with this bug as it ruins the competitive gunfights and needs to be fixed urgently.
