High ping and packet loss after 1000+ hours
Hello,
I have over 1000 hours in Battlefield 6 and never had network issues before. Recently I started getting high ping and packet loss in both Multiplayer and RedSec.
The problem appeared suddenly and makes the game almost unplayable.
What I experience:
High and unstable ping
Packet loss during matches
Lag and delayed hit registration
Happens in all game modes
What I checked:
My internet is stable and works fine in other games
No packet loss outside Battlefield
Restarted router and PC
Tested wired and wireless connection
No background downloads
PC specs:
RTX 5070 2X OC
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Additional info:
Traceroute shows a latency jump from about 16ms to 118ms on a backbone hop (Deutsche Telekom), followed by packet loss towards AWS server 100.24.248.96.
This looks like a routing or server issue, not a local problem.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
