I traced mine back to it being because they have some of us connected to EU servers. Are you in the US? If so, browse the servers and filter US only servers. Make sure the servers you play on have full XP on.
They need to fix this and add more US-based servers. - NitroOnSteroids2 months agoSeasoned Newcomer
Same issue in EU. Audio stutters, sliding everywhere, game plays in slow motion

The 3 stacked rectangles in the top left corner of NutCrackNutThrow screenshot means the framerate is dropping below 60fps. If the framerate drops below 60fps there will be network lag because the game is designed to run at 60fps or higher.
Some of the CPU cores might be maxing out at 100% usage. To check if there are any CPU cores hitting 100% usage, open the Windows Task Manager CPU graph.
- Run the game in windowed mode (alt + enter)
- Open Task Manager (alt + ctrl + del)
- Open the Performance tab, then right-click on the CPU graph and choose "Change graph to > Logical processors".
- Set Task Manager to 'always on top' by clicking option
Now you can play the game and monitor per core CPU usage. If any CPU core hits 100% usage the game will stutter and cause network lag.
Same issue only on 32x32 modes, when I play 8x8 its okay, ping is fine

Yeah cool but how do we fix this? I've been getting this constantly since I started playing. The game is barely playable. I dont get this with any other game. Why is my CPU been maxed out and why isn't it utilising more GPU? I keep getting the 3 frame windows popping up all the time. I've tried setting everything to low, frame gen off and basially trying to run this game as bad as I can and im still getting the slow motion lag everywhere.

I wonder if you're connected to a server outside your location, too. It's so odd.

I have the same problem as OP: massive rubberbanding, movement like walking through honey especially in 32vs32 matches No chance to win any fight. 8vs8 matches, f.e. TDM works fine, even with <60 FPS. Ping is always 1-digit. The yellow FPS symbol shows up constantly, but sometimes the packet loss symbol, too.
Checked with lower settings (like really potato-settings), played with >60fps and got the same problems as well. All issues on large maps aren't at game start, they tend to show up after 1-2 minutes after match start. Monitored CPU-usage and it is indeed 99-100% in Conquest 32vs32 (AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8 core), CPU-usage in TDM 8vs is is 88-95%
Play the open Beta, didh't have these issues.
Question is, what can I do? (without buying an new CPU/System)

65Zulu Superstoff if the CPU is above recommended system requirements but still has CPU cores hitting 100% usage.
Then possible reasons include:
- CPU frequency downclocking due to the CPU or motherboard voltage regulator module (VRM) overheating.
- RAM in single channel mode, instead of dual channel mode.
Monitor CPU frequency in Windows Task Manager to see if it downclocks. For example going from 4GHz down to 3Ghz.
Download HWiNFO to see if the CPU or VRM is overheating and causing the CPU frequency to downclock.
The CPU shouldn't be above 80°C and the VRM shouldn't be above 90°C.
Download CPU-Z to see if RAM memory is in dual channel or single channel mode. Dual channel has more performance.
