Subject: Battlefield 6 – EA Javelin AntiCheat Error (9) – Driver not being installed
Hello
I can’t launch Battlefield 6 because of the error “EA Javelin AntiCheat – An error has occurred (9)”.
I’ve already performed all known troubleshooting steps:
– Completely reinstalled EA App and Battlefield 6
– Deleted the folder C:\Program Files\EA\AC\ and redownloaded the installer
– Ran EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe several times as Administrator
– Secure Boot: Enabled (True)
– Memory Integrity (HVCI): Disabled (Enabled = 0)
– File C:\Windows\System32\drivers\javelin.sys does not exist
– No Code Integrity entries in Event Viewer (so the driver never loads)
It seems that the EA AntiCheat installer never installs or registers the driver.
Please check my account’s AntiCheat status and, if possible, provide the latest signed Javelin driver or reset the AntiCheat component on my account.

– MSI PRO Z790-P WiFi Motherboard
– Intel i9-13900K CPU
– 64 GB RAM, UEFI boot, Secure Boot = True
