In game chat

If I’m in a party with 1 or 2 of my friends and we have a random join our squad we will jump to squad chat (EVERY SINGLE GAME -_- which is already annoying enough). 
However when we switch from party chat to squad chat to have comms with the random player in our squad, I still cannot hear them nor can they hear me, even my own party can no longer hear me. The only resolution we’ve found is while in game if I leave the party then we can hear each other in squad chat then at the end of the game we have to leave the game re invite everyone and repeat the process… 

How do I fix this annoyance, I’d rather spend that time changing weapons not figuring out how to communicate with my teammates.
