For the love of all that is Holy, thank you so much for this fix. I have been stuck since the winter offensive update, racked a 100h on the game previously... I have no words, my only guess is that a privilege on the Administrator account bugs things out.
Hope this works for more than two days, I previously reinstalled my Windows and the game launched, the next day it was broken again tho...
