Kills not counted !!!

I played BF6 for multiple hours this weekend and noticed that the number of kills displayed in my profile aren't counted. I killed many REAL players (and some bots) but my kill count doesn't increase. My total score increases but not kills. I only play on FULL XP servers. Most of the time I play on hardcore servers with full XP progression but none of my kills were added to my profile. I just tried playing on a normal (non-hardcore) server and the kills weren't counted either. And I'm 100% sure I killed real players...

Nope... it has nothing to do with bots at all in this circumstance.  Yes they removed bot kills from KD ratio which is good (though makes no sense why they kept bot deaths... but there's tons of people complaining about that already).  They ALSO completely removed kills from any portal server... which means even if you're playing on a Hardcore Full XP, official rules, completely full player lobby with zero bots but it's hosted on portal (which is what I and a ton of people only play)... your kills are no longer counted on KD ratio... only deaths.  So no matter what your KD will slowly go down regardless of how well you do.  I don't care that much about KD but it's pretty incompetent to make this the way it works going forward.

Is this a bug or "normal"? Is this how the devs want the game to be? Will they fix it?

  • From what I've seen if there are bots in a game, none of your kills will count, even the real player ones. ALL your deaths however will be fully counted, meaning that if you play a mode that has bots like Casual Breakthrough, your K/D ratio can only drop, no matter how many real players you kill.
