Last attempt before refunding.

Having trouble trying to sort out secure boot error. Have gone though all the trouble shooting steps and have contacted acer support, updated chipset drivers to ensure secure boot in enabled in BIOS but when I load system info on my desk top it is still not active. Starting to become too much of a hassle to just play a game. If anyone else has had this problem sorted please let me know how. Acer Nitro V15 if anyone is wondering. If i cant get this to work Im just gonna refund the game.

  • Hi there so Had the same issue, we had to install a whole new BIOS Updated version for the motherboard to get it working.

  • If you have the option, make sure Secure Boot is set to Standard instead of Custom. I've heard of some that've had it set to Custom instead of Standard. Try disabling CSM within your BIOS if your hardware is old, should be located within Boot or Advanced section. Also check if your Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is enabled. If it's not, Secure Boot will fail. Could also try making sure it's updated although it likely already is. Failing that, you could try flashing the latest BIOS version from your motherboard manufacturer.
